Mad Anthonys Children’s Foundation donates $115,000 to Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House
Fort Wayne, IN—Leaders from the Mad Anthonys Children’s Foundation presented Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House with a check for $115,000 raised through the 2019 Red Coat Dinner and Charity Golf Classic held last month.
“It’s an honor to continue our support of Hope House. At Mad Anthonys, we believe it is essential that local companies prioritize giving back to the community in some way,” said Mike Wallace, president of the Mad Anthonys board of directors. “Our yearly donation would not be possible without the efforts of our members, our sponsors and the Red Coat recipients – it is because of their support that we’re able to support such a special and worthy organization.”
This year’s donation of $115,000 to the Hope House brings the cumulative total donated by the Children’s Foundation to more than $5 million since it began its partnership.
“Mad Anthonys’ continued support has been absolutely critical to serve the needs of our clients each and every day,” added Melissa Dessaigne, executive director of the Hope House. “The contributions from Mad Anthonys Children’s Foundation have allowed us to enhance and expand our mission: to continue being a welcoming, family-centered and home-like environment for ill children and their families who need support during a health crisis.”
The 2019 Red Coat Dinner and Mad Anthonys Charity Classic took place June 14 and 15, and honored local businessman and philanthropist John Tippmann, Sr., and NFL star Jaylon Smith as 2019 Red Coat recipients.
